The MOVICON Flexible Coupling is a pin‑and‑bush flexible coupling designed for reliable torque transmission in industrial drive systems exposed to shock loads and vibration.
Torque is transmitted via high‑quality, barrel‑shaped elastomer bushes that effectively damp torsional vibrations and compensate for limited axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment. The coupling operates backlash‑free in both directions and is suitable for reversing and continuous duty applications. With torque ratings ranging from small drives up 430,000 Nm, the MOVICON Flexible Coupling covers a broad application spectrum.
Lubrication‑free operation, low wear elastomer elements and a simple plug‑in design enable fast installation without adjustment and minimal maintenance.
The coupling is designed as a functionally interchangeable solution and can replace flexible couplings from common market competitors, simplifying retrofits and standardization.
Variants with brake discs, axial displacement limitation and brake motor configurations are available. Explosion‑protected versions certified according to ATEX 2014/34/EU allow safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
