The MOVICON Gear Coupling is a compact and robust solution for reliable torque transmission between two rotating shafts in demanding industrial drive systems.
Precision‑engineered hubs with multi‑crowned gear teeth ensure efficient power transmission while compensating for angular and radial shaft misalignment caused by thermal expansion, shaft deflection or foundation settlement. Optimized tooth geometry provides high load capacity, large safety margins under shock loads and long service life. Continuous grease lubrication of the gear teeth ensures smooth operation and reduced wear under high torque conditions.
Small external dimensions, low mass and reduced mass moments of inertia support dynamic drive behaviour and efficient system response. The coupling is suitable for horizontal installation and, in special designs, also for vertical mounting.
Designed as a functionally interchangeable solution, the MOVICON Gear Coupling can replace gear couplings from common market competitors, simplifying retrofits and standardization.
Explosion‑protected versions certified according to ATEX 2014/34/EU are available for hazardous areas.
